THE PAVILION 

In February 2022, The Garden School (main building, Wordsworth Rd, London N16) opened an educational provision for Key Stage 4 and 5 students which have a diagnoses of autism and learning difficulties.  This new provision is known as The Pavilion.

The provision has been planned to provide a suitable preparation for adulthood for those older students.  The focus will be equipping them with the skills and experiences to enable them to have a better quality of life.  This includes greater independence and improved communication and confidence to be able to access community resources safely.

Specialist facilities on the site will provide opportunities for students to develop work related learning skills and experience.  There will be a cafe and training kitchen, and events/meeting space to support the development of hospitality skills and by next year and landscaped area at the rear of the school buildings with a kitchen garden for students to learn horticultural skills.

The school is keen to become part of the local community and welcome local residents and groups into these spaces.
